How to Join Us
Optional Transfer from Florence
Plan to spend the night in Florence on May 29 independently to take advantage of the optional bus transport to Gargonza (via Badia a Coltibuono). Departure is from Florence on May 30 at approximately 11 am. On June 2, we’ll provide transportation from Gargonza back to Florence, also leaving at approximately 11 am.
International flights leave too early from Florence for us to transfer you directly to the airport on June 2. If you are returning to the U.S., you will need to overnight in Florence. If you plan to continue your vacation by train or rental car, you can either overnight in Florence or make your onward plans from Florence as early as mid-afternoon on June 2. Gargonza is approximately 90 minutes from Florence. We expect to return there by 12:30 pm on June 2.

Travel by Car
If you prefer to rent a car, driving instructions can be found on Gargonza’s website. Keep in mind, however, that our first event is at Badia a Coltibuono in Gaiole-in-Chianti for lunch on May 30 (not at Gargonza). You will have to drive directly there, then follow us back to Gargonza after lunch. Check in time is
4 pm on May 30.
