Throughout our trip all activities are optional—except for Lee's birthday dinner, of course!
All times listed below are approximate. Check the website closer to the event for the final schedule.
Day 1 – Depart Florence for Gargonza
Sunday, May 30
11:00 AM
Optional bus transfer from Florence. Drive through gorgeous Chianti countryside.
12:30 PM
Tour and lunch at Badia a Coltibuono.
After 4:00 PM
Check in to Castello di Gargonza.
5:30 PM
Tour of the grounds, followed by reception and dinner.
Day 2 – Day in Siena
Monday, May 31
7:30 AM-9:30 AM
Breakfast at Gargonza.
9:00 AM
Depart for guided tour of Siena, followed by lunch on your own. (If you choose to remain at Gargonza, you enjoy an independent lunch at the restaurant.)
4:00 PM
Return to Gargonza. Try your hand at bocce on a 150-year-old banked court, with merch and glory for the winners. Medieval rules apply.
6:00 PM
Drinks followed by dinner.
*Choose your own adventures in the morning and afternoon!
Take a guided 90 minute morning hike through the estate, past ancient stone farmhouses, boar hunting stations (don’t worry, it's not hunting season), olive groves and vineyards.
Finish bocce playoffs and move on to the championship round of our tournament.
Attend a fun pasta making lesson by our chef.
Sharpen your tasting skills during a deep dive on DOC Tuscan wines with owner Neri Guicciardini as our sommelier.
Or just relax by the pool, shaded by olive and cypress, enjoying a glorious view over the Valdichiana.
Day 3 – Day in the Village & Birthday Gala
